I founded EduLevels in 2020 out of a deep curiosity about why children struggle with reading and how to solve this problem. With over 16 years of experience as an educator, I often received students at the beginning of the school year who were not reading at grade level. Working alongside other passionate literacy teachers, I explored the literacy issues affecting many students in the socioeconomically diverse schools I served. I soon realized that literacy challenges were not confined to any specific group; they affected students across the board. This realization drove me to create EduLevels.

My frustration with the literacy issues I encountered led me back to the basics of both teaching and learning how to read. I developed a structured, meaningful, tailored, and engaging plan to address the literacy challenges many students face. I remain dedicated to expanding my knowledge and resources. I continuously read, conduct research, and enhance my literacy database. I have independently pursued trainings like LETRS for the Science of Reading, read numerous books, and conducted my own research to understand the various issues students encounter.
