Drawing on more than 30 years of combined experience as NYC school educators, we possess training and hands on experience, certifications and Masters level degrees in General Education, Special Education, and Literacy Grades 1-6. Trained in Orton Gillingham, we remain actively involved pursuing certifications in Wilson and LETRS and other Science of Reading (SoR) disciplines. Our combined expertise lies in supporting students with IEPs, Dyslexia, English Language Learners, and those reading one to three years below their grade level. A: At our tutoring sessions, we work to go beyond academics. Each session begins with an empowering "I Am" or "I Can" statement. Students choose positive adjectives, fostering self-affirmation like "I am smart!" or "I can do hard things." Students learn the power of the word "Yet". This unique approach empowers students, emphasizing that their voice matters most.

In each session, we commence with an assessment to identify your child's reading level and specific challenges. Our focus encompasses phonics, letter sounds, phonemic awareness, sight words, word families, and reading short passages, to name. a few of our approaches. To make the learning experience enjoyable and effective, we incorporate engaging activities such as games, arts and crafts, plays, and computer games, reinforcing key concepts throughout the session.

Here at EduLevels, we require  24 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Half the session fee will be charged if a session is canceled with less than 24 hours notice.
